Just when you thought that you might never see another celebrity girl on girl kiss after all the kerfuffle that was made when Madonna famously kissed Britney Spears on stage, then think again! America’s very own super hot diva’s Britney Spears and Rihanna raised a few eyebrows last week at the Billboard Music Awards by repeating the very same incident of eight years ago! If a hot steamy kiss wasn’t enough we might as well mention that both women were wearing matching bondage gear! The pair were performing Rihanna’s hit single “S and M” at the awards show being held in Las Vegas and it would appear that the stage performance was good practice for Britney Spears’s up and coming Femme Fatale tour following the release of her seventh studio album (under the same name). The pair didn’t hold back during their performance either – Britney could be seen holding Rihanna on a leash while she paraded around on her hands and knees. Meanwhile Nikki Minaj performed on the same stage early in the evening surrounded by dancers wearing convict style outfits.

Essex Fancy Dress Bash

When it comes to television programmes we have a little secret – we’re addicted to trash TV programme “The Only Way Is Essex”! Having received some rather mixed reviews we have formed an addiction of following the escapades of the Essex reality stars. For anyone who hasn’t seen the show, it has a similar format to that of US hit show “The Hills” where cameras follow around a cast of key characters as they go about their everyday business. The format is supposed to be unscripted but we’re pretty sure that producers of the show have an input into various scenes – all for our viewing pleasure! We don’t think that we’ve ever seen so many boob jobs, hair extensions and false fingernails all in one place! Over the weekend a cousin of one of the shows stars held a fancy dress party to celebrate his birthday and the stars of the shows came out in their droves dressed to impress!

Main star of the show Amy Childs attended the glitzy bash dressed up as Jessica Rabbit in a very sleek and sexy costume. She wore a long red dress finished with long black gloves. Her red hair matched the outfit brilliantly and we must say, she certainly pulled off the Jessica Rabbit look with ease! Amy’s best mate Sam Faiers showed off her curvy figure dressed up as the iconic bond girl Honey Ryder in plain white bikini! Looks like another fantastic range of costumes at a party that was bound to be a success – more fancy dress please ladies!

Britney Almost Leg Avenue Hot

In the wake of the news that Britney Spears will be touring with none other than male heart throb Enrique Iglesias, Britney appeared on “Good Morning America” in what looked to be a leg avenue style fancy dress costume. Dressed in the sexy number, Britney looked much like the pop singer she once was with a fantastic figure. Sexy Hot Weather

Wow! Wasn’t yesterday a scorching day of weather and we’re only in March?! It was reported on the radio early morning that most parts of the UK would be sun kissed and that was certainly the case here at Ace Fancy Dress HQ in Milton Keynes. Just like most English people, as soon as the sun comes out we all go nuts – the jeans are left behind and we say hello to the shorts draw and all the sexy ladies come out to play! So tell us, what was the weather like where you were? We’re sure the BBQ might of made an appearance…

We love the sizzling heat but it’s not necessarily the sun that brings the heat to our Milton Keynes office and warehouse complex – the sexy fancy dress costumes that we have on our website keep us warm throughout the year. Our ladies sexy fancy dress costumes are so hot that we struggle to understand how the ladies manage to put them on without getting burnt! Ga Ga and Madonna Up For A Cat Fight!

We hate to admit it but like many people, we like to keep a keen eye on the celebs of this world and the bizarre goings on within the celebrity stratosphere! This week it has emerged that there seems to be some trouble brewing between two pop star heavy weights Madonna and Lady Ga Ga! Even though there appears to be some confusion regarding the story it’s reported that Lady Ga Ga claimed the queen of Pop sent her an email congratulating her on her new video? But it seems somewhat strange to think that a busy lady like Madonna would take time out to email Lady Ga Ga congratulating her on her videos – she’s much busier dating hot young dancer friends! It’s also stated that Madonna calls her “Lady Gag” behind her back and was annoyed when Lady Ga Ga rented out a house in the Hamptons in very close proximity to her own! Who would of thought that the gloves would be off between these two super powerful women?

We love a good old-fashioned cat fight especially when handbags are drawn! We’re getting closer to hen night season and are starting to send many hen night style items to our customers. How Was Your Valentines?

So Valentines has been and gone for another year – how was it for you? It’s always an interesting time of year in the fancy dress industry on Valentines day as more and more people seem to be hosting Valentines parties and or doing their own private Valentines celebrations spicing things up with some sexy costumes! For the last two years we have seen an 8% increase year on year for the sale of sexy costumes from our sexy fancy dress page. We know that sexy costumes are some of the most popular on our website and as a result we continually adding new lines to this category. So from looking at sales charter it would appear that more of you are purchasing our sexy costumes to help spice up your love life and judging by some of the recent photos that have been sent in we don’t blame you!

We mentioned on our blog on Sunday that we’re adding some of the new leg avenue lines all the way from the US and we’ve got a feeling that the women out there won’t be disappointed! Next Up – Leg Avenue!

Morning all – sore heads this morning? What a weekend of rugby – anyone watch it? Just thought we would give you heads up for the week ahead. Next week the merchandise team are going to be adding the very sexy and ever so sought after leg avenue costumes to our website. Leg Avenue needs no introduction, as they are quite simply the most famous costume brand in the world! We’re going to be importing the leg avenue outfits over from the US in the next couple of weeks and we aim to bring you the very best UK selection possible! We’ve been busy looking through the new Leg Avenue catalogue and have found loads of outfits that fit into our ever-popular fancy dress themes. We’re going to be adding fairytale, cheerleader, cave girl, army girl and our favourite fairy costumes!

We’re very excited about stocking the Leg Avenue fancy dress costumes as we have been in talks with them for the last two months, so perhaps a little overdue but we’re happy to be given the green light none the less! Sunday Golf = Loser In A Golf Fancy Dress!

We love a Sunday at Ace Fancy Dress, there is nothing better than a nice relaxing day and a couple of cold ones in the afternoon. Today the office guys are playing their usual 18 holes, competition is strife, and tempers flare, but this week adds more importance not to lose. To celebrate a few new lines coming into stock the unlucky loser will the following week, have to sport either our new men’s or ladies golf costume, chosen by the winner! So whoever loses may be pulling a sickie the following week!! Afterwards the pub beckons for a few sherbets then home to watch the footie on SkySports. So whatever your doing, enjoy your day, and make sure you keep an eye out on the blog to see who lost, and whether he’ll be wearing the ladies or men’s golf fancy dress costume next week. We’ll also try sneak a few pics, and get them posted up – promises to be a real laugh.

Golf outfits are all the rage among students these days, with many of them embarking on pub crawls which they call ” 18 holes”. This means they have to go to 18 separate bars and drink 18 separate drinks dressed in…. Yep you guessed it- golf fancy dress! Have you got what it takes for the 18 holes?
